About Timeless Toys Ltd

Hello, I am Beth France and my husband Dave and I own Timeless Toys Ltd. We opened our shop in Barrowford in Lancashire in March of this year. We have a two year old son, Harry James, who can often be found in the shop testing the toys! We opened the shop as we often struggled to find long lasting quality toys to buy for our own son and as long as Christmas and birthday gifts for our friends children. We saw a gap in the market in our local area and decided to fill it with Timeless Toys Ltd. We stock traditional and wooden toys. These are toys that look lovely and will last for generations of children. We have something for everyone from wooden yoyos to Doll's House Mansions, train sets to skipping ropes, pirate ships to Hobby Horses. We believe that children's toys should be safe, long lasting, pleasing to the eye, should encourage their imagination and should be good value for money. We only have one battery powered item on sale in the shop and that is the little train that chugs around the train set in the shop all day long - No DS3's or DVD's here!!

Traditional doesn't have to mean boring. All our stock is brightly coloured and exciting for children to look at and play with. It gives me great pleasure to see parents, and grandparents, showing children the toys they had when they were little. Yes, tin planes, spinning tops and Kaleidoscopes are exciting for this generation of children too!!

As well as selling traditional wooden toys that are high quality and value for money we are also firm believers in customer service. Whenever you come in or phone the shop it's me you'll see or speak to (occasionally Dave and rarely Harry!). Whenever you e-mail or place an order it's me who will reply or pick, wrap, pack and send your order out. I want to ensure that your toy purchasing experience is a friendly and pleasant one and that if you have any problems you can let me know immediately. I will do everything I can to rectify the problem. If you're not happy - I'm not happy!

At Timeless Toys Ltd we also make children's party bags. Our party bags are designed to take some of the strain away from the adult party planner! The party bags are quality paper bags with rope handles in a number of colours. The bags are packed with your choice of tissue paper and then your selection of toys. I ensure that all the toys in the Children's party bags are wooden, high quality, long lasting and provide value for money entertainment. I make every bag up myself and ensure that everything is safe and that there are a variety of colours and designs between the bags. This ensures that each child at your party has an individual present. There is also room left in the bag to add your own slice of birthday cake. You will no longer send children away from your party with a plastic bag full of plastic knickknacks that won't last the journey home!

Another product designed to make your life as an adult easier is our Timeless Toys Wedding Boxes. Every parent knows how difficult it is to keep children entertained and well behaved at adult events. Our Wedding Boxes are designed to be left at each child's place setting, or possibly brought to their seat after dessert has been served. The Wedding Boxes are filled with quality wooden toys that are a) quiet b) tidy c) time consuming and d) pretty - we don't want to spoil your well planned table decorations or photographs! These boxes will ensure that your smaller guests are occupied and entertained and therefore quite entertained during your meal and/or speeches. The children can take their Wedding Boxes home which also saves the expense and hassle of finding age appropriate wedding favours! We have a number of styles and colours of Wedding Boxes available however if you can't see the colour or design your after please contact me and I will endeavour to meet your exact requirements.
